[opensource-dev] Directory named "$(CONFIGURATION)" (was: No rule to make target)

Just a note -- since the XCode tools are free, high quality, and supported, Linden Lab is unlikely to put any significant prioritization into making other toolsets work on the mac. If someone else wants to add such support without breaking what we have, then we won't gratuitously break it, but we're probably never going to test it.
