[opensource-dev] Object menu - proposed changes

I started working on Storm-615 (put Delete in the top-level
right-click on an object menu) and realized there was a bigger issue
for me -- how the entire menu is laid out.

If it seems that people want some form of these proposed changes
implemented it may make more sense to postpone Storm-615 and have this
new jira taken up into the next sprint.
