After half a day of fiddling I finally got this to work - yay!

Setup: Windows 7 + VS2010

The only real bump on the road was that for some reason the file "autobuild" from the autobuild package needed to be copied manually to C:\Python26\Scripts. I have no clue why. After I figured that one out, and sorted a few BISON paths etc. everything now compiles perfectly inside VS2010! And there was much rejoicing :)

Building from the VS command prompt? Not so lucky. I get this:

devenv.com is not an internal command


Well, I'll just stick to building inside VS2010 for now :) I even got a setup.exe (not with that name though) - I never got that with VS2005 since it always failed somewhere before that (after generating secondlife-bin.exe though, lucky me).
