[opensource-dev] Review trouble (was: Review Request: Squared all dist_vec() based comparisons and other dist_vec() operations where sensible.)

I was just doing a straight review, not a source review, and all the
text was gone.  Then I added a comment to my own empty review, and
poof, all but the first line are gone. Very strange.

I did paste in some code as part of an idea I was trying to talk
about, but that started on line 3 of the response, and on line 2 of
the original.  Too bad I forgot to copy before publish!

Well, I'll rewrite it again and post it here in response to the review thread.
