I think a good alternative Microsoft offer is the Bing translator, all the infos can be found here: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/dev/they have AJAX, SOAP and REST API

It shouldn't be too hard to substitute with another service. Someone has an alternative service to propose?

i'd say that kills the in-viewer translations as well as all inworld
