You can try looking at the KirstenLee Viewer from 2011. In May 2011 I wrote
about his work with anaglyphic and shutter glasses:

I suspect the source code is still up in the repository. NiranV Dean did a
lot of work with KirtenLee's code. Contact him for help finding the code.
He might help.
