This is a *really* great idea. If you JIRA it, I promise I'd vote on it too.
Even with the current client, which is still what I use any time I'm
not in a voice meeting, I end up putting my chat at the bottom and IMs
at the top to try and keep the view centered. If I could shift the
view center upward and leftward, then I'd keep both things on the
bottom, and I could even keep the mini map and inventory up on the
right.
