True - but (correct me if I'm wrong), Skype will route through ports 80 and 443 (which are unlikely to be blocked for outgoing traffic apart from extreme cases where you probably would be trying to run skype or voip anyway) if needed although prefers more open access so that it can use your computer as a routing node for others.

At the moment, it isn't clear there is an equivalent for SLVoice.
