[sldev] How to debug X server crash?

Hi,
Since 1.18.1 I think, I noticed a very annoying bug that results in a
sudden crash of the X server. It goes like this:
1. Run SL. It works fine
2. Exit SL. That works OK.
3. Start SL again. SL loads, connects, renders the world, then maybe
5-10 seconds later, X crashes:
Backtrace:
0: X(xf86SigHandler+0x6d) [0x487c1d]
1: /lib/libc.so.6 [0x2adb6f24b8e0]
2: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so [0x2adb6f785a63]
After that, restarting X and trying to run SL again results in the same
problem. A reboot, or unloading the nvidia driver before restarting
restarts the cycle: I get to be able to run SL again, but it will again
crash on the second run after reloading the module.
The crash seems quite random in that SL loads and works for some time,
which seems to vary a bit.
Anybody knows what could be done to obtain something more useful than
the backtrace above?
