Its not a hijack because it was a related, though tangental reply. I
even quoted it.

A hijack is when you pick a random message in a random thread and hit
reply, in an attempt to post a new message, but the user is unaware that
the mail client quietly maintains references in the SMTP headers if you
this.

My intention was even to move this to a Wiki page. I'm not a wiki person
so I don't know where it should go...
