[sldev] Source release for 1.18.6.0

Good news:  Soft is diligently working on getting the build issues
sorted out in the exported code, so that we know this compiles out of
the box for at least one developer.

Bad news: he wasn't able to get this work done before Anthony posted
this source code.

Good news: he's heads down on fixing this.  I'll let him report when
he's made progress.

So, unless you're really determined, you'll probably want to hold off
until he gets done before trying to build this code.
