Looks like what I was getting after my attempt to fix gstreamer.
Unpatched I actually get an error from glib, something about threads not
being initialized and then it crashes. I tried putting in thread
initialization, which resulted in errors like this, and then more thread
initialization errors...

Something's horribly wrong with gstreamer in standalone builds and hell
if I know how to fix it. Really need to file a bug... It seems LL built
Windlight viewer running on the same system works with gstreamer just
fine.
