Yes, OpenSim is the proper name for the server, not sure where you got
OpenSL either. :)
My suggestion is to follow Zero's office hours, and make up your own
mind here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Zero_Linden/Office_Hours
It's all logged, so everyone is on the record, and OpenSim comes up
often enough.
