What does it matter?
It's the people "buying shit" that pay for the places you socialize.
Without the people "buying shit" there wouldn't be a Second Life.
Or an internet, for that matter, even if a boatload of the stuff
people buy on the Internet is only protected by "honor system" DRM.
And if you're there to socialize, what does the permissions system
cost you?
