[sldev] Tip O' the Hat to the Lindens

I'd like to add my voice to those thanking the Lindens for open sourcing
the SL client.

First, it's a beautifully balanced body of code and a delight to read and
study.  I'm already plotting to use it as the text in a software
engineering course.

Second, it enables one to easily experiment with alternative avatar-based
metaphors.  We're still in the Gopher era.  Let a thousand "Life"s bloom.
