[sldev] Version Control

What is the process going to be to select a version control? I hate working
without a Version Control. I'm tempted to copy it into my local svn
repostory just so I can do diffs to submit patches.

I'd suggest SVN, it's popular, so there will be a lot of developers that
already know how to use it, and it's well tested. There's clients for
windows, mac, *nix. There's passable free plugins for VS and a good one for
the windows shell. There is also a handy web-based SVN repo browser
(viewcv) that I like, and I find it handy for discussions.
