Gah.

Indeed, especially since Mozilla hasn't solved the "security" part of  
this... the way they install XPI is just plain broken.

What about communication with external scripts? Is there a way in the  
protocol to implement my idea of connecting a chat channel in SL with  
a socket on localhost? You can send chat to a specific channel from  
the client, I know, but can you get chat back from that channel  
without having to have a listening prim proxy it?
