I get hit by it too.

For me, there's a fairly reliable trigger: right-clicking on something
to bring up a menu.  If the menu comes up, I'm fine for the rest of
the session.  If the menu freezes about halfway through appearing, the
client will crash five seconds later.

Browsing through the backtrace and looking at the values for "this",
it appears that the octree contains a cyclic graph, with length about
5.
