You may file an issue under MISC if you really, really want me to change
it, and I would suggest we take further discussion to JIRA rather than
this mailing list. In short, my answer is "no" for the reasons in that
essay. I've administered email lists for many, many years, so you'll
have a difficult time changing my mind on this, but I definitely don't
want you or anyone else trying to debate the issue on the list.
