The Internet is really just a P2P device itself even without all the 
further abstracted P2P methods. Somewhere along the line people 
associated P2P with the other silly ideas, but those are still good 
layman's term. People generally recognize what is being done by 
"Limewire," but not as many understand the use of IP addresses to share 
data.
