About the same performance as for AES:

type         16 bytes   64 bytes   256 bytes   1024 bytes  8192 bytes
blowfish cbc 93727.58k  99827.99k  101858.99k  102497.96k  103030.15k


BTW, benchmarks are done with "openssl speed"
