3) Specific simulators generally tend to be at fault. If simulator A
begins to exhibit the problem behaviour, then no presence information is
received from people logging in to simulator A, nor do people in
simulator A receive presence information, until the sim restarts.
Caveat: It's a little more likely that a logoff notification will be
received than a login notification. When the issue has been at its
worst, perhaps 15% of simulators have been affected. There seems to be
more than one issue, and given simulators (some seem more prone to it
than others) getting themselves in a bunch seems to be one of them.
