I'm interested in trying in playing around with the viewer and try
some things, I'm not a C++ programmer, but have done other
programming in the past, currently I do PHP with MySQL backend and
occasionally dabble in Perl, any suggestions for learning C++ and for
those on Mac any things I should know about in using XCode, etc.? If
any suggestions, pointers, etc please email scott at scottnorman.com.

I did download 1.15.x and was able to compile the viewer so I know I
can at least do that much. Now I tried compiling all the libraries
from scratch but that didn't work a couple of them had issues and
since I really don't know C++, I just did the compile with the pre-
compiled libraries. For learning experience, should I sit down and
get all the libraries to compile and has anybody on Mac done it?

I'm running on a PowerBook G4 (PPC) using 10.4.9 with 2GB RAM and the
graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon 9700.

On Mac for Snapshot to disk on 1.17.0 (12), the shortcut key shows
cmd-`, but that does not work, ctrl-`, so does anybody know was the
short suppose to be cmd-`, if not then the menu text needs to be
fixed. I looked in JIRA and could not find anything submitted on it
before. So, is somebody can let me know what needs to be done, I'll
post a report to JIRA.

Blessings,

Scott (ask Mokelembembe Mokeev)
