[sldev] recent patches

Here's a bunch of my recent patches for your testing and review.  These 
are all against 1.17.

The embedded notecard patch is more of a band-aid, it looks like 
something happened to server-side permissions on embedded objects.  This 
patch just removes the extra unnecessary client-side permission check 
when opening a notecard and makes it as if you have "view admin options" 
on, which works around the issue somewhat.

The crosseyed patch and animation fade patch are just rollbacks of 
recent linden changes to the old behavior that worked correctly.  Note 
that the person looking at you needs to have these patches too, or they 
will continue to see some of the bad behavior.

The newb spam patch kills the spam you get when you teleport away from 
help island public if you have a lot of landmarks and calling cards. 
This function is useful for newbs that might only have one calling card, 
but annoying to everyone else.  This patch detects if you have more than 
10 of the items in question, if so, it supresses the output.
