[sldev] CPU and GPU statistics

I wouldn't be surprised at *all* if some of the oddball chips like the
VIA Joshua and Samuel were misidentified or generically categorized as
Pentium Pro. I know Intel and AMD both have islands and endeavor to
reach out to OSS developers on SL. If anyone's curious enough to try
to make inroads and find preferred recognition techniques, that could
be a good vector if their developer docs or *nix kernel sources aren't
enough.
