[sldev] Jira down?

Mmmm, interesting about the clustering issue.

Something is amiss - even on a good day, Jira is very slow. Without knowing the hardware, I can only guess but perhaps beef up the disk (multiple controllers, striped disks etc., maybe even fork out on som 15000rpm SCSI disks)?

As a stop gap could the four projects (SVC, VWR, WEB, MISC) be served off seperate jira servers?

It may also be worth cleaning the issue database - deleting all the duplicates which are really requests for help - when you upgrade the software.

Matthew
