[sldev] Source release for 1.17.1.0

Ok, the new downladable viewer has got some serious jitter issues with on
screen display. Is this a universal issue, or specific to particular
hardware configurations. Access to crash statistics demographics without
access to individual records would be a plus.....

Oh wait, I havent crashed yet. Oh well, nm. Stability is pretty good.
Rendering issues remain.
