[sldev] Cross compiling the viewer

Honestly, I dont think key library elements for MacOSX can be ported to a
Windows environment for a true cross compilation environment due to Apple
license restrictions. However having said that.. there are projects on linux
that exist that allow you to build MacOSX binaries... So there are not
technical reasons to keep it from happening.
