[sldev] Linking broken?

Okay so its doing this on purpose:

def create_cond_module(module, module_libs=[]):
    if build_target != 'client' or not opensource:
        create_static_module(module=module)
    else:
        create_dynamic_module(module=module, module_libs=module_libs)

I don't see the reasoning behind this.
