Hi folks,
I messed up in coordinating my office hour shift with Qarl. So, we're
going to go ahead and hold one last office hour at Grasmere at 3pm to
specifically talk about Sculpties. See Qarl's email below for details
about what we'll be talking about.
Info on office hour can be found here:

hey all -
i've got a few sculptie announcements, for those who might be
interested in such things:
1. Dr. Dobbs will be hosting a daylong sculptie party on their island
July 7. I'll be speaking (typing?) in the first panel. There should
be lot's of fun sculptie experiments and toys and tools and
camaraderie. I'll send more information as it becomes available.
2. I'm drumming-up support for an open-source/community-development
project for the sculpties. The basic jist is: you guys rock, if
possible we should continue the rockage. Details here:
https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Sculptie_Dev
I'll also be coming to Rob Linden's office hours this Friday to
discuss this and other sculptie fun.
3. I've released a new version of the sculptie exporter - it now
makes some effort to reassemble entire maya scenes (and automatically
bakes lighting.) Available here (much thanks to Dzonatas for the
wiki clean-up.)

best,
K.
