In in side note, IBM confirms plans to finish the worlds first petaflop
supercomputer.

Sun, who has taken a little more interest in in Second Life, announced
plans to reveal a 2-3 petaflop computer.

On the bleeding edge, researchers have announced that at least a half
petaflop is now possible at the size of your chip on your desktop.

Hmm. I believe my hint that they kinda held back from the public about
computational power trends in modern technology is right on the money. =)
