That's not true. The SL Viewer code published under GPL+FLOSS exception
is GPL compatible. However, using it in conjunction with straight-up
GPL software means that you essentially can't take advantage of the
FLOSS exception anymore, so you no longer get to link against code
licensed under the Apache 2.0 license, for example, since that license
is not GPL compatible.
Our FLOSS exception is very similar to the FLOSS exception granted by MySQL.
