Well, there are two points here.
One ... can we get SL to a point where we can merge in GPL code?
This is the point I think people care mostly about on this list.
The other point is, should proprietary plugins be a big part of SL?
That's a different, more philosophical question that I doubt we'll
arrive at a valuable consensus on.
