[sldev] Compiling ok, but SecondLife.exe doesn't work

Thanks so much! It worked.
Unfortunately in 9 of 10 cases after downloading the clothes Second Life
closes immediately without any warning or error message. If it does not shut
down, textures are not loaded and the login screen misses any graphical
elements, too (background image with SL-logo, border between inputs and
background image, button borders, etc.).
I'm kind of wondering, too, why my avatar is female now, as he actually is
male...
Can anyone help me with this?
