Sorry to see the discussion leave.  I was learning about things that I 
didn't even know I didn't know.

The mailing list comes to me.  I have to go to the wiki and figure out 
where the new stuff is.  Well I would have to if I actually had the time 
to go there.  I don't.

My view is that if it should be permanent, it should be in the wiki. 
Cheers to those who extract the wheat from the chaff and create the 
SLDev summaries.

I believe the discussion sections of the wiki should be for opposing 
points of view or suggestions for improvement to the base article. 
Cluttering it up with dialogue is a good way to lose that.

Thrash it out on the mailing list.  Store the wheat on the wiki.
What's the downside?  A few clicks of the Delete button?
