He isn't talking about resizing the region, he's talk talking about moving
the regions origin (region <0,0,0>). Region origin shifts have been the
symptom of a couple long standing bugs btw. I don't know if the current
software can handle vertical region changes (moving from one region to
another vertically).
The privacy spaces suggestion has been made before, I'm not particularly
fond of it. Script communications & physics become complicated issues. To
really make things interesting, it would require reworking of Voice Chat.
If you want real privacy buy a private island and don't allow people to TP
in.
