In order to start to test our future architecture, we are working to 
create a simple scripted client that that will exercise the current 
internal communications between the logical modules of the existing 
client and the external communications with the server, and, eventually, 
do the same with the redefined client-server architecture as it will 
work with the meta-grid as it is implemented over the next 2 years or 
so. Our draft "VAG" paper for this "reference client" is found here:
