Of course, LL can't sell licenses for derived GPL works, since the
derived works incorporate the work of other people. They can only sell
the rights to what is rolled into Linden Lab releases, and the code
which is basically given to Linden Lab for them to roll back into their
releases. Basically, no one can compete with their browser by selling
licenses unless they purchase the commercial license.
I hope mantlepieces are worth the effort.
