Rob, this thread although it has strayed slightly is perfectly on
topic as it pertains to the open source development of second life and
of the code that is put in here and I take personal offense at your
saying that this thread is essentially trolling and ask that you
retract that statement. Also I think it's perfectly in line for
either LL to either say they have a standardized figure for commercial
licenses or they don't and if they don't (as they claim) at least be
able to give a ballpark figure considering that LL has sold at least 1
and possibly more licenses so far. Though I'm curious on a
development standpoint on LL's plans on whether they're going to be
selling more of these licenses and under what terms and whether LL is
actively going to advertise these licenses for companies as currently
there is almost no public information. And if asking questions is
grounds for being yelled at then by all means please remove me or tell
me so I can remove myself from this list, the volunteers list, and the
mentor group since your stifling the environment that LL has strived
to promote in these lists to I can only imagine protect LL from those
who give it a lot.
