Nope, I'm sticking with 1.18.4 for now as 1.18.5 doesn't seem to have
anything that does Fedora any good until I get llmozlib working...
But with Fedora 8 I am seeing a return of the "eat all ram and die" bug.
I'm even seeing it with 1.18.0.6 now. More details on the review ticket:

Basically this seemed to turn up when I tried out Mesa 7 under Fedora 7.
I went back to the stock Mesa 6 and the problem went away. I figured I
must have done something wrong. But now with Fedora 8 final this bug
seems to be back with a vengeance. Apparently others are having issues
with Mesa 7 too. So its really looking like there's a bug in Mesa 7.
Sure you didn't upgrade your Mesa? :)
