Like Samba does for Microsoft? Andrew's not forcing Microsoft to  
follow their specs, he's chasing their changes.

Some of them... don't forget, there's a lot of open source projects  
that are considered "standards" that are nothing like Open Systems.

But what really bugs me is that when you see one moving from a  
documented protocol to an ad-hoc one, that's not a good sign.
