Hi,

I am one of the co-founders of the virtual world development agency
Metaversatility. From now through October 15th, we are surveying
Second Life residents on behalf of a well-known technology company.
You might have read something about this survey in the Second Life
Insider or the Second Life Herald.

We are particularly interested in understanding what coders of all
stripes think about Second Life, both as a community and as a
platform. The SLDEV list seems like one of the best ways of reaching
the expert SL development community.

If you have seven minutes, I encourage you to participate in the
survey, which is posted at:

    http://www.metaversatility.com/survey/welcome.sldev.html

Though this is privately sponsored, the researchers and sponsors are
committed to sharing highlights with the Second Life community after
the data has been collected. Also, in recognition of their time,
survey respondents are eligible to participate in a sweepstakes with
prizes worth hundreds of US dollars. The grand prize is a donation of
$50,000 Linden Dollars to the charity of the winner's choice.
Respondents are also eligible to receive $20,000 Linden Dollars
deposited in the inventory of their personal avatar. The full list of
prizes is appended to this message.

We are also trying to reach out to beginning SL programmers, and I
suspect that many of the newer developers do not read this list
regularly. If you have any suggestions for how to best approach
beginning coders, please feel free to contact me at:

Thanks in advance for your time!
