Also keep in mind the AWG is multi faceted.

While I agree with Jason's thoughts on open standards and Zhas thoughts on
interoperabiliy, all I personally care about is getting rich geometry into
my VW without creating huge lag problems.

So the Viewpoint Advacacy Groups that are under the AWG give a way to
express these particular needs or viewpoints.
