Interesting.

I'd prefer a mailing list though. I think there are advantages over a forum 
for that, mainly that if the server goes down the messages aren't going to 
vanish from my mail server, server performance is less important, and that 
it makes it possible to crosspost here, which avoids splitting the 
community.
