Well, it's simply a personal preference of mine, no offence intended if you 
took any.

Feel free to use that gateway on my lists of course (assuming somebody 
subscribes, don't hurry with that just yet)

Fair enough.

I'm doing it currently as an experiment. I suggested lists myself, so I 
thought I could as well go and do that instead of sitting here grumbling 
here about my dislike of the wiki for discussions.

Personally I want mailing lists, but they don't have to be mine. I'll move 
to another list if somebody comes up with a more popular one, and support 
consolidation efforts.
