[sldev] Is something seriously wrong with Hippotropolis?

Okay, this is really annoying. Yesterday, my client deadlocked as it
occasionally does, so I killed it and tried to log back in. I got the
usual "The system is logging you out right now. Your account will not be
available until (now + 5 minutes)". Five minutes pass. I get the same
thing. A half hour passes. Same thing. An hour passes. Same thing. I
give up, go out to dinner then go to bed.
I get up today, and log in for a bit. I idle while I check email and
such, and eventually notice I've gone redmapped. So I close the client,
and try to log back in. Great, not again! Its been like 4 hours now, and
I still can't log in. All the while, my wife and my roomate can log in
just fine, so its specifically my account. (And they see me as online,
though the map indicates I'm way off in the far left corner of the grid
as it always does when it doesn't actually know where someone is.)
What's the damn deal? Both times I was in Hippotropolis, I've never had
this problem anywhere else, is there something wrong with the sim? Or am
I just unlucky?
