I'm sorry,
I look at this and laugh. Unfortunately IP addresses are difficult and
inconvenient to hide completely. In fact, simply look through the e-mail
headers and you'll find the IP addresses of every poster to this list.
Simply type that into a Geo-Location web-search and you have the general
area where the IP address is registered which is often a good guess at where
the person is. Sure, you may argue that you can get around it with a SMTP
proxy, however.. in my experience using a SMTP proxy has resulted in my
messages ending up in spam folders and outright blocked. HTTP proxies are
overloaded and the simplest web-page takes 5 minutes to load. SSL proxies
take even longer. I don't think there is really any way around it and I
think unless you're doing something illegal or otherwise nasty it's a waste
of time and resources to try and hide it.

One such GeoLocation search that pins the pushpin on the absolute correct
spot for me is:
http://www.ipligence.com/geolocation/?lang=en

The greifers should worry about it. The general population, however,
gives their IP address up all day on the web. "Every 2 nanoseconds 100
unique ip addresses are logged."

my 2Cents
