Hi everyone,
Google announced the accepted proposals last week for Google Summer of
Code. As you might have seen, a couple of proposals for Second Life
viewer applications were accepted: Alexander Yuan's proposal for
screen-space ambient occlusion (VWR-6975) and Ravish Mehra's proposal
for implementing a C++ library for per-pixel displacement mapping
(VWR-6976).
More information on these proposals can be found here:
https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Google_SoC_2008
Please join me in congratulating them, and welcoming their contribution
to Second Life!
Rob
