This will become the same problem to Debian too, although at the moment
i seem to be able to use XULrunner, no other distribution does and I
think i got lucky there. Also with increasing patching to the mozilla
tree llmozlib is moving away from xulrunner so at some point I too will
be in the same situation. Debian would never allow a fork of mozilla for
something like this, there is too much security team overhead and no
using an existing library but forking one creates a security nightmare.

Also... are Linden Labs going to watch the mozilla mailing lists,
bugtraq etc and rebase and apply all mozilla security warnings into the
llmozlib version of mozilla? I suspect not, its a lot of work, and this
itself is a major headache, on ALL platforms.
