That's also something that is really big.

Normally critical alarms are bubbled to the top of the list, and you  
often can't bulk-ack critical ones (so you use "ack all" to get rid  
of the non-critical alarms). You can also have multiple windows,  
panes, or tabs and you may have to take some special action to even  
bring up non-critical alarm displays while critical ones are  
unacknowledged.

Critical alerts would be ones that could cost you money.

The alarm log should probably go into chat log (and by the way I like  
having the URL of teleports in the chat log, that's an easy and  
clever way to handle teleport history... though that should really be  
a secondlife: URL and not a SLURL).

For events that aren't acked, the slider in the corner is fine but  
after they're shown they should ALL go into chat history.

Chat history should have a button to hide/show chat from events and  
objects, like it has hide/show mute now.
